Sports News: Salman Agha Throw Award After Lose Asia Cup Final vs IND: A picture of Pakistan's captain Salman Agha has surfaced which is a shameful incident on the cricket field. What happened was that first there was a long wait for the prize ceremony and then when it started, Salman Ali Agha was given the runner up cheque of 75 thousand dollars. First Salman took the cheque, then got his photographs clicked and then turned around and threw it in the air instead of putting it down and moved ahead smiling as if all this was planned in advance.
Earlier, in the final, India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets to win the title. The Indian team became Asia Cup champions for the 9th time. Left-handed batsman Tilak Varma, who scored an unbeaten 69 off 53 balls, was named Player of the Match. Abhishek Sharma was named Player of the Series.
The Indian team refused to accept the Asia Cup trophy from ACC head Mohsin Naqvi, of Pakistani origin, and did not accept the title. Consequently, the awards ceremony began approximately one hour late. The Indian team's refusal to accept the Asia Cup title from Mohsin Naqvi was a grave insult to Pakistan that will hurt them even more than the defeat itself.
